Helen B. Subrick, 87, of Washington, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, in Washington County Health Center.
She was born June 26, 1923, in Washington, a daughter of Andrew and Alexandra Sauchak Bartusiak.
Mrs. Subrick was a homemaker and farmer. She was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
Mrs. Subrick enjoyed baking, working in her garden and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband, Joseph Subrick, died January 31, 1981.
Surviving are a son, Mark J. (Cindy) Subrick of Washington, a brother, Andrew Bartusiak of Washington; and three grandchildren, Alayna, Marcus and Nicolas.
Deceased are three sisters, Stella Riechart, Ann Cherpas and a sister who died in infancy.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Panachida Service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, December 23rd, in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Canonsburg, with Father Joseph Jugan as celebrant. Burial will follow in North Buffalo Cemetery.
