Harry Harton

Harry H. Harton, 82, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 23, 2010, in Southmont of Presbyterian Care. He was born June 27, 1928, in Washington, a son of Harry and Myrtle May Cunningham Harton. Mr. Harton worked at Washington Hospital as a custodian. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. On February 2, 1952, he married Gladys Lenora Harden Lewis, who died January 20, 1990. Surviving are a three step-daughters, Elda Marie Power, of Beallsville, Debbie and Nora; a sister, Sara Lomax, of Danville, IL. Deceased are four brothers, Robert, Mitchell, Gaylord, and Warren Harton; and three sisters, Ethel Amos, Nora Plants, and Dorothy Gergosky. Friends will be received Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
