Mildred Louise Dufresne, 86, of Washington, died on Saturday, December 25, 2010, at the Donnell House, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on November 14, 1924, in Midland, PA, a daughter of Earl and Margaret Hopkins Gump.
She was a homemaker and was Protestant, by faith.
Mrs. Dufresne was on the election board. She enjoyed collecting baby dolls, playing bingo, and especially her grandchildren.
On September 16, 1940, she married Paul Dufresne, who died on August 7, 1966.
Also surviving is a son, James Paul (Diane) Dufresne, of Houston, PA., 4 daughters, Carol (Carroll) Antill, of Washington, Gloria (Andrew) Szallar, of Washington, Nancy (Paul) Krupzig, of Hickory, and Sandra (David) Myers, of Washington; a sister, Shirley Doman, of Washington, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandsons, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Catherine Pirt, and a granddaughter, Brandi Bazzoli.
Services and burial were private, and held at the convenience of the family.
