Regina Lorraine Bingiel Watkins

Regina Lorraine Bingiel Watkins, 62, of Eighty Four, died Friday, January 21, 2011, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. She was born August 16, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of Louis A. Bingiel, Jr. and Lorraine Romonoski Bingiel. Mrs. Watkins graduated from Washington High School in 1966 and from Washington Beauty Academy in 1968. A licensed cosmetologist and teacher, she owned and operated her own beauty shop in Eighty-Four for many years. Mrs. Watkins was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington. On July 21, 1973, she married Donald E. Watkins, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Lee A. Watkins, of Claysville; a daughter, Donene T. Watkins, of North East Canton, Ohio; a sister, Monica M. Emrock, of Bethlehem; and five grandchildren, Zeke and Reagyn Watkins, Victoria and Devon Petronka and Gavin Sam. Deceased is a brother, Louis E. Bingiel. There will be no visitation or services.
