Clara Jakubek

Clara D. Jakubek, 95, of Meadowlands, died Monday, January 24, 2011, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington. She was born February 17, 1915, in Rich Hill, Chartiers Township, a daughter of Thomas and Victoria Krosky Duskey. Mrs. Jakubek worked at J.C. Penney’s for eight years, retiring in 1976. She was Catholic by faith. On May 19, 1946, she married John Jakubek, who died March 23, 1963. Surviving is a son, Thomas Jakubek of Meadowlands. Mrs. Jakubek was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are two brothers, Edward and Francis Duskey; and three sisters, Blanche Abarow, Olga Dempsey and Helen Duskey. There will be no public visitation or services. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
