Samuel “Sammy” Alfred Osso, Jr., 45, of Washington, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at his residence.
He was born on August 11, 1965, in Washington, a son of Samuel A., Sr. and Patricia Agnew Osso.
Mr. Osso had worked at Osso’s Pizza since his youth, and in more recent years he worked there as the manager.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Mr. Osso was a very social person who enjoyed life, golf, bodybuilding and sports. He was an avid skier and loved to play hockey.
Mr. Osso was a graduate of Washington High School.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are 2 sisters, Mindy Osso (Rich) Earliwine and Lisa Osso (Dave) Hasson, both of Washington; nieces and nephews, Mandy Hughes Gilley, James Hughes, Jr., Robert Hasson and Kristen Hasson, and 2 great nieces, Rosie Gilley and Madi Jo Gilley.
Also surviving are aunts, Christie Agnew, Sonna Agnew, Virginia Ullom, Mary Anne Fox, and Margaret Skariot, and several cousins.
Deceased are maternal grandparents, James Dennis Agnew, Sr. and Gladys K. Agnew; paternal grandparents, Alfred Osso and Elvera Osso; and an uncle, James Dennis Agnew, Jr.
Services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
