Richard L. “Dick” Frazier, 76, of Washington, died on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the Washington Hospital, after a brief illness.
He was born on October 20, 1934, in Lone Pine, a son of Herbert and Lee Kelly Frazier.
Mr. Frazier had worked at Washington Steel Corporation for more than 30 years, where he was employed at various positions, before retiring from the Water Lab at Washington Steel.
He was Protestant.
Mr. Frazier was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren, being with his friends at the Mall and going to the dog track.
On January 29, 1962, he married Virginia Sims, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Richard K. (Mary) Frazier, of Las Vegas, a daughter, Lori (Barry) Martin, of Canonsburg, and 5 grandchildren, Richard and Kyrstin Frazier and Max, Mackeyan and Kamden Martin.
Deceased is a half-brother, Jack Saunders.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
