Robin Ann Weishner Pride, 52, of Martinsburg, WV, died Saturday, February 5, 2011, in her residence, with her family at her bedside, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born August 3, 1958, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Sarah Troutman and Robert Weishner.
She attended Chartiers Houston High School,
Up until the time of her death, Ms. Pride worked for Braddock Agency – Century 21, of Winchester, Virginia. Prior to working at Century 21, she was a manager for restaurants.
Ms. Pride enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Tom Adams, of Richmond, Virginia.
She was Catholic by faith.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a son, Adam N. (Sandy) Rhodes, of Martinsburg, West Virginia; two grandchildren, Adam Paul and Christian Rhodes, both of Martinsburg, West Virginia; four sisters, Darlah (James, Sr.) Gazvoda, of Canonsburg, Karen Fuller, of Atlanta, Georgia, Gloria (Andrew) Ruffalo, of Washington, and Sally (Jay) Smalley, of Seffner, Florida; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday evening, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011, with Rev. Michael Jay Smalley officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
