Carol Jean Dragnett, 73, of Scenery Hill, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1937, in McDonald, a daughter of Kenneth Holmes and Julia Ference-Hennen Holmes.
Mrs. Dragnett worked as a licensed practical nurse at South Hills Convalescent Center.
She enjoyed sewing, crafting, crocheting, painting, and spending time with family. She was a member of a card club and volunteered at the Washington City Mission.
Mrs. Dragnett was a member of Christian Church of North America.
On January 12, 1985, she married John Anthony Dragnett, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Barbara Jean (James) Thomas of Graysville, Kimberly Ann (Cliff) Snedeker of Hickory, Debbie Browell of Washington and Lisa Dawn (Timothy) Bigler of Southview; two brothers, Steven Holmes of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kenny Holmes of Callaway, Maryland; a son-in-law, Rickie Rohm, husband of the late Carol Rohm; three sisters, Phyllis Reiley of Hookstown, Judy Gursky of Crafton and Donna Thorton of Pittsburgh; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Carol Elizabeth Rohm.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5th, with Rev. Stephen Getchell officiating.
