June Rebecca Hewitt Summers Haught, 70, of Washington, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, after a brief illness.
She was born November 29, 1940, in West Brownsville, a daughter of the late Raymond "Darby" and Bertha Crile Hewitt.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed going to auctions, traveling and being with family.
Mrs. Haught was married twice. In September 1962, she married Robert Summers, who died in 1978. In July 1985, she married Earl Haught, who died in 1994.
Mrs. Haught is survived by five sisters, Sarah Hixenbaugh (Wayne) of Avella, Edna Puskarish and Esther Lane, both of Washington, Cinderella Helbig of Loramie, Ohio, and Gail Doman (Elmer) of Washington; a brother, Leo Hewitt of Washington; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Opal Hewitt and Bertha Louise Barnhart, and a brother, Orin Lee Hewitt.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 13, in the North Franklin Township fire hall, Sylvan Drive. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the donor's choice.
