Beverly Joyce Morris

Beverly Joyce Morris, 56, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care. She had been ill since July 2010. She was born September 13, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of the late Frank Morris Sr. and Wilma Cook Morris. Ms. Morris was employed as a bookkeeper at Weber Furniture for 33 years and also worked at Dollar Store Plus in Washington Crown Center for three years. She enjoyed being with her family, reading, and her beloved dog, Nikki. Mrs. Morris was a member of Friendship Community Church. Surviving are a brother, Frank A. (Kathy) Morris, Jr., of Washington; five sisters, Sandra Fuller of Washington, Joanna La Fave of Weirton, Brenda (Dave) McGowan of Washington, Pamela (Jaime) Tickle of Grove City, Ohio, and Connie Morris of Lawrence; 13 nieces and nephews; and 22 great- nieces and great-nephews. Deceased is one niece. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from Noon to 1 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
