Patricia Ann Cornell

Patricia Ann Cornell, 74, of Houston, died Monday, March 28, 2011, in McMurray Hills Manor. She was born May 31, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of Ray and Ruth Milbert Lacock. Mrs. Cornell graduated from Washington High School and was a homemaker. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed cooking, crafts, decorating, planting flowers and playing cards. Surviving are two sons, Wray (Melissa) Cornell and Guy A. (Tricia) Cornell, both of Avella; a daughter, Sheryl Knapper-Cornell of Canonsburg; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; and her former husband, Charles Cornell. Deceased is a brother, Gerald D. Lacock. Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1st, with Rev. Dr. Steven Mentzer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
