Raymond Gerald Doak

Raymond Gerald Doak, 54, of Houston, died Saturday, April 2, 2011 in his residence. He was born September 3, 1956, in Washington, a son of Raymond G. and Angeline Virginia Maine Doak. Mr. Doak worked as a groomer and horse trainer at the Meadow’s Racetrack for 30 years. He enjoyed horses, his children, and fixing small engines. Mr. Doak was Protestant by faith. Surviving are his companion of 25 years, Deborah Redmon; two sons, Nicholas Doak Redmon and Kurt Redmon, both at home; and an aunt and uncle, Betty and Jim Speck of Washington. There will be no public visitation or service. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington, is handling arrangements.
