Edgar O. Heiskell

Edgar O. Heiskell, 83, of Washington, died on Saturday, , at the Washington County Health Center, after a brief illness. He was born on February 27, 1928, in East Liverpool, Ohio, a son of Hazel Heiskell. Mr. Heiskell served in the United States Army from March 1946 to September 1947, having received the World War ll Victory Medal. He was a member of Avery United Methodist Church and a life member of West Moreland Masonic Lodge # 518 and the Valley of Coudersport. Mr Heiskell was a 33rd degree Mason. He was also an avid Steeler fan. He worked more than 36 years for CNG Transmission as manager of their Government Affairs division. On September 5, 1948, he married Ramona Tustin, who died on July 24, 2010. He is survived by only cousins and close friends. Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held from 12 to 1, the hour of service, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the Avery United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ruth Simmons officiating.
