Anna Claire Mosier, 79, of Washington, died on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the Washington County Health Center, after a lengthy illness. She was born on May 28, 1931, in Boswell, PA, a daughter of Robert Jacob and Rose Berkley Stufft. Mrs. Mosier was a homemaker and a Jehovah’s Witness. On October 31, 1975, she married William “Nobby” Mosier, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Dan (Marie) McDonald, of West Mifflin and Keith Welch, of Washington; 3 daughters, Kathy (Paul) Karnes, of Washington, Karen (David) Legerski, of Washington and Rose Cornell, of Greensburg; 2 brothers, Lloyd Stufft, of New Kensington, PA and Ed Stufft, of Fruitland, FL; a sister, Jeannie Miller, of Conway, SC; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Robert Stufft, and 2 sisters, Mildred Shaw and Wilda Ciga. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. The date and time of the Memorial Service will be announced in a later edition, and burial will be at the Jenners Crosstown Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 16th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
