Margaret “Peg” Davis King, 75, of Washington, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born March 20, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of William Davis and Elsie Clark Davis Luskoski.
Mrs. King was a 1954 graduate of Trinity High School and worked at WGA, Brockway Glass #7, and Danny’s Catering.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed life and spending time with her grandchildren.
On April 4, 1959, in First Baptist Church, she married Harold E. King, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Daryl E. King and wife Janet of Venetia; her daughter and best friend, Denise Ann King of Washington; two sisters, Vickie Green and Shelvey Harris, both of Washington; a step brother, Tony Luskoski of Washington; three grandchildren, Jessica King, Justin King and Tommy King; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, William Davis; a sister, Sara Jane Davis; and her stepfather, John Luskoski.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 15th, with Pastor Steve Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
