Debra Diane Cunningham, 58, of Washington, died April 23, 2011, after a lengthy, courageous battle with Sjogren’s Syndrome.
She was born November 7, 1952, in Steubenville, Ohio, a Daughter of Reet (Rex) and Carmella (Connie) T. Castelluzzo Cunningham.
Ms. Cunningham graduated from Trinity High School and thereafter worked as a clothes store manager and a private duty housekeeper until the time her health declined, making the smallest of tasks difficult.
She enjoyed being with her family, sewing, needlepoint, canning foods, making crafts, and animals. She doted on her rescued Maltese dogs, Lacey and Molly. Some of her favorite moments were spent with her beloved Nieces and Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews whom she adored.
Ms. Cunningham was a faithful, devoted Christian.
Surviving are a Brother, Dennis Wayne (Betty) Cunningham and a Sister, Cathy T. Cunningham (Steven K. Judy), both of Washington, and a Sister-in-Law, Sandra K. Cunningham of Washington; Nieces and Nephews, David W. Cunningham, Tammy K. Kotelis, Joseph R. Cunningham, Jr., and Christy A. Cunningham, along with Great Nieces and Nephews, Matthew R. Cunningham, Kayla N. Cunningham and Hunter D. Stollar, Jessica R. Cunningham and Julia R. Cunningham, and Colton D. Kotelis and Katrina A. Kotelis.
Deceased is a Brother, Joseph R. Cunningham.
Friends will be received Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. at Lone Pine Christian Church with a blessing at 1 with Father Thomas O’Neil officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Lone Pine Cemetery. Suggested memorial contributions may be made to Pet Search of Washington, Pennsylvania, The Western Pennsylvania Humane Society of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and/or Pennsylvania Great Dane Rescue of Pittsburgh (Baden), Pennsylvania.
