Laura A. (Budgie) Pellegrini

Laura A. “Budgie” Pellegrini, 78, of Washington, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the Washington Hospital. She was born on February 5, 1933, in Monongahela, a daughter of Louis and Pearl Vaira Pellegrini. Ms. Pellegrini worked in reservations for U.S. Airways for 40 years, retiring in 1991. She had also worked at Northwest Airlines. She was a member of Church of the Covenant. Surviving are 3 sisters, Evelyn (Ernest) Westwood and Virginia (George) Stefus, both of Monongahela and Clarene “Cookie” Namie, of Washington; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, Joseph Pellegrini and a sister, Dolores Burgoyne. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Covenant, 267 East Beau Street, Washington, PA 15301-4755. A Memorial service for Laura A. (Budgie) Pellegrini, will be held Saturday, May 21st, at 4:00 PM, in the Church of the Covenant, 267 East Beau Street, Washington, with Pastor Sue Petritis officiating.
