Irene Barbara Leivengood

Irene Barbara Leivengood, 81, of Claysville, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011. She was born February 19, 1930, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Michael and Barbara Balas Josvai. Mrs. Leivengood attended Gladstone High School and worked as a manager in the motel/lodging business. She enjoyed needlepoint. On February 17, 1950, she married Robert J. Leivengood, who died March 28, 2008. Surviving are a son, Robert W. (Deborah) Leivengood of Buffalo Village; a daughter, Debi (Jim) Mounts of Claysville; three grandchildren, Sky Desensi, Ronnell Henderson and Jim Mounts; and four great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Bill and Joseph Josvai; and a sister, Helen Piazza. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 14th. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
