Virginia L. Dinch, 65, of Washington, died on Thursday, May 19, 2011, in the Washington Hospital after fighting a lengthy illness.
She was born on February 1, 1946, in Washington, a daughter of the late Harry C., Sr., and Ellen Virginia Lever-Wagner-Reedy.
Mrs. Dinch had been employed at Kade’s Nursing Home for 21 years.
She enjoyed dart ball, playing games, going to bingo, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, doing puzzles, and any chance to gather with family and friends.
On December 25, 1964, she married her husband of 46 years, Leroy B. Dinch, Jr., who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Harry C. Reedy, Jr., of Canonsburg; 2 daughters, Christina L. Dinch, of Elco, PA and Michelle R. Dinch, of Washington, adopted daughter, Glenda L. Jenkins; several adopted grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Harriet E. Reedy-Sella, who had lived in Jacksonville, FL; 2 brothers, Frank W. Reedy and Fred E. Reedy, who had both lived in Washington, and a son, David L. Dinch.
Friends will be received on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Larry Leonard officiating.
