Earl T. Fitzgerald

Earl T. Fitzgerald, 57, of Prosperity, died Monday, May 23, 2011, in the Washington Hospital, following a six-month illness. He was born June 16, 1953, in Dubuque, Iowa, a son of Lawrence and Mary Radamick Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald owned and operated Earl’s Auto Repair for 20 years. He served in the Marines and earned the National Defense Service Medal. Surviving are a daughter, Kristi Fitzgerald of Claysville; a brother, Mike Fitzgerald of the state of California; two grandchildren, Nicole and Billy Fonner, both of Claysville; and a nephew, Bobby Fitzgerald of Washington. Deceased are brothers, John, Steve and Rick Fitzgerald; and sisters, Sylvia and Ann. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2011, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
