Sally Jo Bell, 50, of Washington, died Thursday, May 26, 2011, in Donnell House.
She was born August 26, 1960, in Washington, a daughter of the late George R. Bell, Sr. and Betty Mae Fyke Bell.
Ms. Bell was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church and enjoyed being involved with the Penny Bank at Vacation Bible School.
She graduated from Washington High School and was a homemaker. She loved making candy, especially at Easter, and making photo and memorabilia books for her church family.
Ms. Bell loved her dog, Tinkerbell, who will miss her greatly.
Surviving are three brothers, George R. Bell, Jr., of New Cumberland, West Virginia; and Norman J. Bell and Glenn E. Bell, both of Washington; friend and caregiver, Ruth Kneff; and several aunts, nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends will be held from 10 till 11 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, May 28th, in Park Avenue Baptist Church, 3750 Park Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Larry Leonard and Pastor Charles Sprowls officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
