Alice Lucille Stetson Call, 82, of Washington, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the Donnell House, after a brief illness.
She was born on April 26, 1929, in Washington, a daughter of Marshall Monroe and Melissa Jackson Stetson.
Mrs. Call attended the Washington schools. Later, she worked for 14 years, at the Washington County Health Center as a housekeeper.
She enjoyed embroidery and going to the casino.
Her husband, Donald Ross Call, Sr., died on June 8, 1968.
Surviving are a son, Donald R. (Kathi) Call, Jr., of Houston; 3 daughters, Margaret L. (Daniel) Mitchell, of Wilmington, NC; Mildred M. Kite, of Washington, and Donna L. (Cesare) Tiano, of Monroeville; 8 grandchildren, Courtney, Allison, Sherry, Daniel, Jr., Amanda, Jamie, Ashley, and Cesare, Jr.; and 3 great grandchildren.
Deceased are 15 brothers and sisters, and a daughter, Linda L. Call.
Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.,925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating.
