Ruby Doris Kerchinsky, 92, of Washington, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, in Washington Hospital.
She was born May 21, 1919, in Venetia, on her family's farm, a daughter of Frank and Rena Capastrano Spiegel.
Mrs. Kerchinsky was a 1937 graduate of Trinity High School.
A homemaker, she worked at RCA and Federal Paper in her younger years.
She was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, where she was involved with Christian Mothers and Wednesday Prayer Group.
On January 18, 1940, she married Joseph Kerchinsky, who died November 10, 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph (Patricia) Kerchinsky of Newport, Mich., and James (Shirley) Kerchinsky of Romulus, Mich.; a brother, Norman Spiegel of Venetia; two sisters, Lillian McNary and Joy Malachosky, both of Venetia; four grandchildren, Kathleen, Joseph, Amy and Kimberly; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Ed Spiegel.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. The family will depart for Finleyville Cemetery at 11 a.m.
