Stella Ellen Bullock, 70, of Washington, died Sunday, June 19, 2011, in her residence.
She was born April 30, 1941, in Short Creek, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Wylie and Dorothy Shuman Toland.
Mrs. Bullock worked in an automotive fastener factory for GMC for 40 years.
She was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church, where she served as a trustee. Mrs. Bullock was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 and a life member of F.O.E.
She was actively involved with the spaghetti dinners for the needy that are held twice a month at Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church.
On July 1, 1970, she married John T. Bullock, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Elsworth Toland of Lagonda; and three sisters, Alberta Miller of Pleasant Grove, Mildred Toland of North Franklin and Martha Toland of Washington.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 23rd, with Rev. John Hoffman officiating.
