Richard Harry Cummins, 58, of Washington, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born August 1, 1952, in Washington, a son of Donald Cummins of Washington and the late Lois Cummins.
Mr. Cummins was a graduate of Trinity High School. For 18 years he worked as a coal miner for 84 Coal Company and for the past 11 years he was a computer programmer for Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Mr. Cummins enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Sienna, and walking his dogs.
He was Protestant by faith.
On October 9, 1992, he married Tracy Sinfinski, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Joshua Tomsic; two daughters, Adrienne Tomsic (Steve Gorby) and Kristen Cummins, all of Washington; two brothers, David (Lora) Cummins of Bethel Park and Donald (Ann) Cummins, II, of Washington; and a grandchild, Sienna.
A gathering of friends will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Tuesday, July 5th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 777 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
