Cody Carl Miller, 17, of Washington, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 25, 2011, at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born on August 3, 1993, in Washington, a son of George Krencik, of Washington, and Valerie Miller, of Washington.
Cody was a student at Trinity High School, and he worked at Ten Mile Paving Company.
He was a Christian.
A big Steeler fan, Cody loved sports and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his stepfather, Randy McKinney, 3 brothers, Tyler McKinney, Curtis Krencik, and Randy McKinney, Jr., all of Washington; a sister, Melissa McKinney, of Washington; maternal grandparents, Gordon and Carla Miller, of South Franklin Township, and maternal great-grandfather, Carl Pryor, of Amwell Township; aunt and uncles, Michael (Ashley) Miller, and Gordon (Renee) Miller, Jr., and Chris Krencik; and cousins, Dylan and Peyton Miller.
Deceased are his maternal great grandmother, Patty Pryor and maternal great grandparents, John and Roberta Miller.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens. McMurray. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
