Jane P. Losko, 84, of Canonsburg, formerly of Houston, PA, died on Friday, August 12, 2011, in her residence, after a brief illness.
She was born on November 3, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of George W. and Lacie Anderson Parker.
Mrs. Losko had worked in the accounting departments at I.C. Patch and Sons, Sears, Vitro Chemical and at the 84 Auction.
A graduate of Chartiers High School, she was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Presbyterian Women’s Organization.
On May 29, 1947, she married Frank U. Losko, who died on November 24, 2007.
Surviving are a son George (Barbara) Losko, of Durham, NC, a granddaughter, Melissa Jane Losko, and a great-grandchild, Elijah “Jake” Losko.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Leanora Losko.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., in the Faith United Presbyterian Church, 900 East Beau Street, Washington, PA, with Pastor Linda Webster officiating. All those attending the service are to meet at the church.
Burial will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery.
