John Orville “Bull Man” Davis, Jr., 57, of Washington, died Monday, August 15, 2011, in his residence. He had been in declining health the past three years.
He was born July 28, 1954, in Washington, a son of Irma C. Pyles of Wind Ridge and the late John Orville Davis, Sr.
Mr. Davis had worked at RC Cola and US Steel in Homestead and was a handyman specializing in lawn care and engine repair.
He frequented Ross’s Tavern, Pancake Inn and Rinky Dinks and was a member of the Anawana Club. Mr. Davis enjoyed riding his motorcycle and using the CB Radio.
Surviving are three sons, Brian A. (Anne) Davis of Munhall, Joshua R. (Dawn) Davis of Claysville and Christopher Davis of Maine; a daughter, Patty Ann Mosso of Clairton; a brother, Walter M. (Cindy) Davis Sr. of Washington; four sisters, Twila C. Davis of Washington, Wanda (Jodi) Strennen of Scenery Hill, Sarah Martin of Wind Ridge, and Glenda (Jim) Tennant of Washington; five grandchildren, Emily, Elijah, Victoria, Emanuel and Edward; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a son, Shawn Raymond Davis.
There will be no public visitation.
