Mary B. Pyles

Mary Belle Pyles, 71, of Washington, died Sunday, September 18, 2011, in Greenery Specialty Care, Canonsburg. She had been ill since March. She was born September 14, 1941, in Washington, a daughter of Claude and Edith Pierson Smith. Mrs. Pyles was a homemaker. In 1965, she married Charles Seth, who was killed in action in Vietnam on September 14, 1967. On October 3, 1969, she married William B. Pyles, Sr., who died March 10, 1996. Surviving are a son, William B. Pyles, Jr., of Prosperity; a daughter, Loretta L. (Lester) Simms of Washington; one sister, Velma Hewitt of Washington; and a grandchild, Kevin A. Simms. Deceased are a son, Barry W. Pyles; and two brothers, Howard and Paul W. Smith. There will be no public visitation or services.
