Mary Catherine Vizza

Mary Catherine Vizza, 54, of Fredericktown, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness. She was born October 26, 1956, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Albert and Elvera Nigrelli Mancini. Mary Catherine graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Theater Arts with emphasis in Voice. Mary Catherine was Christian and pursued her musical talent mainly in a church setting. On January 31, 1987, she married Gregg Vizza, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Jason Vizza of Fredericktown; a daughter, Christina Vizza of Fredericktown; one brother, James Mancini of Sewickly; and three sisters, Donna Scalercio of Pittsburgh, Sharon Thomas of Moon Township, and Karen Mancini of Ashland, Virginia; as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 24th, with Pastor John Thomas officiating.
