Mary Ann Smith

Mary Ann Smith, 76, of Washington, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in her residence. She was born February 10, 1935, in Illinois. Mrs. Smith attended nursing school in Pittsburgh and worked as a nurse. She was a member of the L.O.O.M. Auxiliary and the grange in California, where she was a former officer. Mrs. Smith was a member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, where she was a reader and a member of the choir. On October 7, 1980, she married Thaddeus N. Smith, who survives. She was the last of her immediate family. She will be greatly missed by her two dogs, Lucy and Squeakers. There will be no public services.
