Daniel Lee Halvin

Daniel Lee Halvin, 47, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011, in Donnell House. He was born September 19, 1964, in Washington, a son of Barbara A. Slater of Washington and the late Eugene M. Halvin. Mr. Halvin attended Chartiers-Houston High School and worked as a self-employed contractor for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and spending time with family and friends. Mr. Halvin was Catholic by faith. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Michael E. Halvin of Washington; a sister, Barbara J. Miller of Bentleyville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Kenneth C. Halvin. Friends will be received Noon to 3 p.m., the time of a Blessing Service, Saturday, September 24th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Father Thomas D. O’Neil officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
