Helen Romaine Heiney

Former Washington, Pa resident, Helen Romaine Heiney, of Panama City, Fl, died Thursday October 6, 2011, at Emerald Shores Health and Rehab, in Panama City, Fl after a five month illness. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Washington Cemetery in Washington, Pa on Wednesday October 12, 2011 at 3 p.m. Mrs. Heiney was born on August 24, 1926 to Alfred and Ruth Bright of Washington, Pa. She married George Heiney on August 24, 1946. She was a lifetime member of Third United Presbyterian Church of Washington, Pa. She was also a member LLL Sunday school class at First Baptist Church of Panama City, Fl. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her son-in-law, James “Pete” Coleman. She is survived by her son Edward Heiney and wife Sharon of Thomasville, NC; daughter Sherry Coleman of Panama City, Fl; granddaughters April Heiney of Charlotte, NC, Valerie Heiney of Thomasville, NC and Alicia Coleman of Panama City, Fl; grandson Michael Heiney and wife Shannon and great-granddaughters Savannah and Gracie Heiney of Thomasville, NC; sister Betty Ann Bazant of Washington, Pa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
