Karen Helen Bialowas, 67, of Langeloth, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, in Kade Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness. She was born July 26, 1944, in Ohio, a daughter of Clinton and Madeline Horning, Mrs. Bialowas was a high school graduate and graduated with a P.H.D. from Kent State University. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Mrs. Bialowas was a member of the American Legion in Avella. On July 2, 2005, she married William J. Adams, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Clinton (Jeanne Nelson) Hunsicker, of Langeloth; a daughter, Cristen Nagel, of Beaver County; three grandchildren, including grandson, Christopher M. Nelson, and three great grandchildren. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements were by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
