Dorothy “Dot” Zitkovich, 81, of Washington, died Saturday, October 22, 2011, in her residence.
She was born December 9, 1929, in Cecil, the daughter of Anthony and Antoinette “Tessie” Loren Tebalt.
Mrs. Zitkovich was the owner of Dot’s Tavern for twenty years.
She was Christian by faith and devoted to her family and grandchildren.
In 1966, she married Louis Zitkovich, who died in 1986.
Surviving are a son, Weldon H. “Bill” (Cooky) Hall, of Washington; three daughters, Frances (George) Caster, of Houston, Antoinette (Ivan) Ullom, and Mary G. (James) Maddox, both of Washington; two sisters, Frances Owens and Josie Burke, both of Washington; and several cherished grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Deceased are six brothers, Michael, Walter, Frank, Bill, Victor, and Stanley Tebalt; and a great grandchild, Maurice Gilmer, Jr.
There will be no visitation or services. The family suggests memorial contributions to Washington City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301. Arrangements were by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
