Laura Jean Prigg

Laura Jean Prigg, 53, of Washington, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011, in her residence, following a one-year illness. She was born January 24, 1958, in Washington, a daughter of Helen Durilla of South Carolina and the late Eugene Voyles. A homemaker, Mrs. Prigg enjoyed spending time with family, knitting, sewing, collecting buttons and making quilts. On April 13, 1973, she married Charles T. Prigg, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Charles T. Prigg, Jr., of Washington; two daughters, Ruth L. Prigg of Claysville and Christy L. Hart of Wellsburg, West Virginia; a brother, John Voyles of Amity; and two granddaughters, Charlie Prigg and Essence Conklin. Deceased is a daughter, Cheryl Prigg. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Friday, October 28th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
