Cynthia Lynn Townsend

Cynthia Lynn Townsend, 60, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 16, 2011, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Oakland. She was born February 22, 1951, in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of Virginia M. Sherman Tucker, of Washington, and the late Charles L. Tucker, Jr. Mrs. Townsend was a horse trainer at the Meadows Race Track. She was a Native American who enjoyed native dancing, crafts, and making jewelry. On October 7, 1989, she married Charles W. Townsend, who survives. Also surviving is a sister, Shay. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. The family suggests memorial contributions to Golden Living center, 201 Village Drive, Canonsburg, PA 15317. Arrangements are by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue.
