Janet Lea Firanski, 58, of Washington, died on Monday, November 21, 2011, in Shadyside Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born on June 16, 1953, in Washington, the daughter of Patricia A. Johns, of Washington, and the late Alvin K. Dunkle. A graduate of Washington High School, she went on to receive a degree in Business Management at the Pittsburgh Technical Institute. Ms. Firanski had been the manager at Le Gourmet Chef in the Tanger Outlets, and had also worked part-time at Target. Catholic by faith, she was a very family-oriented woman. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are 2 sons, Roland Peter Crivellaro, of Moon Township and Jonathan Paul Crivellaro, of Johnstown; a brother, Larry K. (Laurie) Dunkle, of the state of Montana; 2 sisters, Barbara A. (Larry) Craig, of Greenville, TX and Deborah E. (John) Carl, of Avella a grandson, Peter Alan Crivellaro; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, who all adored her. A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, November 27, from 1 to 2 p.m., in the William G Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301 The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Washington Christian Outreach, 119 Highland Ave., Washington, PA 15301, or the Washington Women’s Shelter, please call (724) 225-9811; or the American Cancer Society, 331 South Main St., Washington, PA 15301.
