Ann Jones

Ann Jones, 86, of Washington, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Southmont of Presbyterian Care. She was born on December 27, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of Albino and Mary Cornetti Aloia. Mrs. Jones worked in the cafeteria at Immaculate Conception School, from 1977 until 2010. She enjoyed her family and cooking. On June 22, 1963, she married Kenneth V. Jones, who died on January 11, 1977. Surviving are a son, Kenneth V. (Lisa) Jones, Jr., of Virginia and a grandchild, Michael Stratton, of the state of California. Deceased are 4 brothers, Patsy H. Aloia, Anthony “Tony” Aloia, Albert A. Aloia and James A. Aloia, and a sister, Evelyn Rose Aloia. Friends will be received on Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden St., Washington, PA 15301. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 5, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father John Bauer as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
