James Schneider

James Schneider, 80, of Washington, died Thursday, December 15, 2011, in Allegheny General Hospital. He was born July 21, 1931, in Washington, a son of Frederick Schneider. Mr. Schneider served in the Navy Reserves and retired from Findlay Refractories. On October 22, 1955, he married Rose Munchie, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Joseph Frederick (Cindy) Schneider and James Anthony (Denise) Schneider, both of Washington; a sister, Mary Chez of Washington; a grandchild, Jammie Bruno; two step-grandchildren, Patrick Henderson and Kelley Abbott; and three great-grandchildren, Ray, Thomas, and Jacob Bruno. Deceased are five brothers and one sister. Services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty-Four PA 15330.
