Richard Mark McCann, 53, of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly, Thursday, December 15, 2011, in his residence.
He was born February 12, 1958, in Washington, a son of Richard A. and Nancy B. Brownlee McCann.
Mr. McCann graduated from Trinity High School in 1976 and received his LPN degree from Waynesburg Vocational-Technical School.
At the time of his death, he was employed at Universal Smart Comp.
Mr. McCann was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church in Washington and enjoyed playing the organ and shopping for antiques.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Lynn Ware of Washington; two nieces, Kristin (Jose) Ramirez and Lauren Ware, both of Washington; a great-niece, Ryleigh Moore; a great-nephew, Lucas Ramirez; and a dear friend, Susan Barr of Canonsburg.
Deceased are a brother, Gregory McCann; maternal grandparents, Willard and Alta Brownlee; and paternal grandparents, Newton and Mary Williamson.
Friends will be received Monday, December 19th, from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, with Rev. Michael Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
