Vincent James Kaminski, Sr., 62, of Washington, died unexpectedly at Washington Hospital on Saturday, December 17, 2011.
He was born in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Eleanora Pasqua Kaminski. He was a graduate of North Catholic Schools and Robert Morris College.
Mr. Kaminski was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington. He worked at TRIPIL in Washington and had previously worked at Life’s Work of Pennsylvania for an eight year period and prior to that worked thirty years as a sales person for both Forbes Steel and InSteel Corporations.
He enjoyed cooking, watching the Steelers, Friday Night poker with his buddies, and was an avid hunter, spending many days hunting with his beagle “Flash”.
On July 25, 1986, he married Sandra L. Sworden, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael Kaminski of Oakland, Vincent J. Kaminski, Jr., of Latrobe; two daughters, Lisa ( Mike ) Kaminski of Houston, Texas, and Melissa Kaminski of Blacksburg, Virginia; three brothers, Robert, David, and Joseph Kaminski, all of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Cameron, Ashley, and Nathan, as well as one great-grandchild Skylar.
Friends of Vincent James Kaminski, Sr., 62, of Washington, who died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 17, 2011, will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 10 AM, in Saint Hilary Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Thomas O’Neil Celebrant. Private burial will follow at a later date. The family is requesting memorial donations be made to the Humane Society.
