Audrey L. Whitley

Audrey L. Whitley, 78, of Washington, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in Breese Rest Home, Claysville, after a one and a half year battle with cancer. She was born January 6, 1933, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Clifford J. and Marie Elizabeth Sherwin Lake. Audrey was a 1950 graduate of Dormont High School and worked as an assistant manager at Day’s Inn. She enjoyed sewing and was a fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams. Surviving are three children, Jill Ann, Pamela Jane, and Richard Paul; three grandchildren, Jennifer Beecher, Timothy Slade and Adam Slade. She was also a loving great-grandmother. There will be no public viewing or service.
