Margaret Therese Greco

Margaret Therese Greco, 81, of Scott Township, formerly of Washington, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, in Kane Regional Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born on June 24, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Antonio and Michelina Magnetta Greco. A 1947 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, and lived a very spiritual life. Ms. Greco had once worked at G.C. Murphy Co. as a sales clerk. Surviving is a sister-in-law, Florence Greco; 4 nephews, Mark, Stephen, Joseph and Anthony Greco; 2 nieces, Diane and husband, Dr. James Allen and Denise Greco; 3 great nephews, Michael, Jonathon and Andrew, and 2 great nieces, Lindsay and Angelina. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a brother, Joseph Greco, and a sister, Sister Carmella Greco, RSM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 27, at 10:00 a.m., in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
