Rose D. Bell, 85, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 7, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Falce DeVita.
Mrs. Bell graduated from Washington High School in January 1944. She worked at General Adjustment Business services as a secretary and bookkeeper.
Mrs. Bell was a member of First Lutheran Church.
She will be missed by her two cats, Jake and Libby.
On September 24, 1950, she married Gus Bell, who survives.
Also surviving is a sister, Dell DeVita of Washington.
Deceased are two sisters, Adelaide DeVita and Alberina Wherry.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 21st, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum.
