Norma J. Cooper, 66, of Washington, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012, in Donnell House.
She was born August 11, 1945, in Washington, a daughter of Ralph and Viola Gallagher Anderson.
Ms. Cooper worked as a nursing assistant at Washington Hospital and at various home health agencies in Washington.
She enjoyed playing dart ball, attending Bingo, going to the casino, and traveling with her friend Patricia Crago of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Ms. Cooper was a member of the Washington Moose and a former member of VFW, Eagles, and Pulaski clubs of Washington.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughter, Phyllis L. Cooper of Washington, and several nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Ralph Anderson Jr., and sisters, Margaret Shuba, Genevieve Lowery and Ruth Anderson.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 6th, with Rev. John Hoffman officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
