Betty Louise Torboli, 70, of Washington, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, in the Donnell House.
She was born September 19, 1941, in Hickory, a daughter of Albert William and Rose Florence Clemens Russell.
She was a graduate of Washington High School and attended North Buffalo United Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Torboli was a homemaker and had worked at Rungo’s Market and Hickson’s Office Supply.
She enjoyed music, gardening, camping, and spending time with her family; and recently was happy to become a great grandmother.
On January 6, 1962, she married David Paul Torboli, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a son, David P. (Kimberly) Torboli, Jr.; and a daughter, Deborah A. Torboli, both of Washington; three brothers, Charles (Pam) Russell, and Harold (Pam) Russell, both of Washington; and Howard (LuAnn) Russell, of Canonsburg; two sisters, Lois (Robert) Weaver, and Rose “Darlene” (Wayne) Elliott, both of Washington; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Benjamin) Meighen, Anthony Torboli, and Randall Torboli; and a great grandchild, Evelyn Marie Meighen.
Deceased are two brothers, Albert and Gaylord Russell, and two sisters, Florence Seifert and Clara Turk.
Friends will be received 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2012, with Pastor Gary Gibson and Pastor Keith Hornung, co-officiating. Burial will follow in North Buffalo Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Donnell House, c/o Hospice Care of The Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
