William Carmello Selvaggi, 76, of Washington, died Monday, March 26, 2012 in UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born January 13, 1936, in Washington, a son of Antonio and Anna May Criswell Selvaggi.
Mr. Selvaggi worked as an assistant foreman on the labor gang at Jessop Steel. He enjoyed working, finishing concrete and baking bread.
Mr. Selvaggi was Catholic by faith.
On October 25, 1988, he married Connie M. Shipe, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Gregory Selvaggi and Anthony Selvaggi; four daughters, Yolanda (William) Potts, Candace Taleff, Brenda Bellotti and Melissa Minnear, all of Washington; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, William Anthony Selvaggi; a brother, Foley A. Selvaggi; and a sister, Dolly Talerico.
Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 30th.
