Donald Wayne Lockwood, 74, of Washington, died Monday, April 16, 2012, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born April 19, 1937, in Laboratory, son of the late Riley Larue and Mary Elizabeth Anderson Lockwood.
Mr. Lockwood graduated from Trinity High School in 1955, earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and served in the Army. For 25 years, he was a music teacher in the Trinity Area School District.
Mr. Lockwood was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church and the Elks Lodge. A volunteer at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, he especially enjoyed being a conductor there.
Surviving are a brother, Harry J. “Jim” Lockwood; several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece, Payson Rose Webber.
Deceased is a brother, Clifford Lockwood.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, April 18th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington.
